Do I need a Kuaishou account or a Chinese phone number?
No. The scraper reads public Kuaishou data without an account, phone number, cookies or proxy. Share links from the app (v.kuaishou.com) work as input.
Why does Kuaishou search return fewer rows than I asked for?
Kuaishou search mixes users, live streams and videos. Only video results are kept, so a search can return fewer rows than maxItems.
What does a Kuaishou video row contain?
Video ID and URL, caption, hashtags, author name and ID, publish time, and view, like, comment and share counts, plus a video file URL when the option is on. In a run on October 21, 2026, a profile's latest video returned 4,222 views, 11 likes, 2 comments and four hashtags.
